20 week ultrasound

In case you weren't at Tim and Sarah's wedding, or haven't seen the pics I posted to facebook, here are the pics from our 20 week ultrasound.

It was such an exciting day. Not only was it a busy day at the office, but it was also my 28th birthday! Brett took the morning off to go to Lawrence to pick up his mom and bring her to the appointment, and my mom and dad met us there. The sonogram technician did a great job of pointing out the baby's arms, legs,feet, etc. And when she told us it was a little girl, I don't think there was a single dry eye left in the room.

In this picture we got to see baby head on! Her hands were together in the praying position and she had her head resting on them. It was so cute! You can also see her little eyes and nose and big round tummy!


Here she is in the same position, but you could see her little mouth opening up and she was drinking some of the amniotic fluid and sticking her little tongue out at us! It's really amazing what you can see on the sonogram!


And this is when we learned we're destined for all things pink! Definitely a girl!!
